Vom 14. bis 16. Mai 2024 finden die nächsten Personalratswahlen statt. Warum wird schon wieder gewählt? Ganz einfach: 2022 wurde aufgrund der Gesetzesänderung, dass nun auch Freie mitwählen dürfen, neu gewählt. Mit der jetzigen Wahl wird der gesetzliche vierjährige Turnus wieder hergestellt. Die meisten Freien Mitarbeitenden können zum zweiten Mal bei der Personalratswahl mitmachen. „Lokal Beschäftigte“ an DW-Standorten im Ausland haben erstmalig die Möglichkeit ihre Vertretung zu wählen.

Nehmt euer Stimmrecht wahr und sorgt mit uns gemeinsam dafür, dass wir als Arbeitnehmende unsere Ansichten gegenüber der Geschäftsleitung deutlich machen. Lasst uns gemeinsam die DW besser machen! Unsere Betriebsgruppe ist ein starkes und vielfältiges Team, mit erfahrenen Kolleginnen und Kollegen, aber auch mit neuen Gesichtern. Bei uns sind viele Frauen und Männer dabei, aus den unterschiedlichsten Redaktionen und Nationen. Feste wie Freie sind bei uns vertreten. Kurzum: Wir sind gut aufgestellt!

Die kommenden Wochen möchten wir dazu nutzen, Euch alle vorzustellen. Für Rückfragen und Anliegen stehen wir Euch sehr gerne zur Verfügung. Wir sind für Euch da – vor, während und nach der Wahl!

The next staff council elections will take place from May 14 to 16, 2024. Why are there elections again? It's simple: new elections were held in 2022 due to the change in the law, which now also allows freelancers to vote. The current election will restore the statutory four-year cycle. Most freelance employees can take part in the staff council elections for the second time. "Local employees" at DW locations abroad have the opportunity to elect their representatives for the first time.

Exercise your right to vote and join us in making sure that we as employees make our views clear to the management. Let's make DW better together! Our works group is a strong and diverse team, with experienced colleagues as well as new faces. We are made up of many men and women from a wide variety of editorial teams and countries. Both permanent and freelance staff are represented. In short: we are well positioned!
